About the Role

We're looking for a Business and Process Analyst who is passionate about process excellence, clear communication, and designing transformative workflows that create tangible value for healthcare organizations. You'll serve as the crucial bridge between our customers and software development teams, translating complex care processes into optimized solutions.
You'll be working at the intersection of healthcare operations and technology, analyzing current ways of working (IST-situation) at healthcare organizations to identify pain points, constraints, and opportunities. Your insights will drive the design of improved processes that deliver real value for healthcare professionals, clients, patients, and society as a whole. As a core member of our growing team, you'll help shape how Syntilio transforms healthcare delivery through smart process innovation.
You are expected to proactively use AI-assisted tools (like ChatGPT and Cursor) to enhance your work in process analysis, documentation, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving.

Requirements

What you'll do

  • Analyze and document current processes and workflows at healthcare organizations using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), creating clear visual representations of complex care pathways

  • Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and constraints in existing workflows through systematic problem analysis, recognizing patterns and root causes that impact care delivery

  • Design optimized processes that eliminate inefficiencies and create measurable value for all stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem

  • Bridge communication between healthcare professionals, management, and technical teams, actively listening to understand diverse perspectives and translating needs into clear requirements

  • Collaborate intensively with cross-functional teams including software developers, implementation managers, healthcare professionals, and organizational stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions

  • Facilitate workshops and interviews with healthcare organizations to gather insights, validate findings, and co-create solutions that fit their specific context

  • Document process designs, requirements, and recommendations with exceptional clarity, ensuring all stakeholders understand the proposed changes and their impact

  • Maintain organizational awareness of how process changes affect different departments, systems, and stakeholders within healthcare organizations

  • Drive results by setting clear priorities, monitoring progress, and proactively intervening when implementation goals are at risk

  • Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, improve documentation quality, and enhance stakeholder communication

What you need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience

  • Fluent in BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) with proven ability to model complex processes and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences

  • 3+ years of experience in business/process analysis, preferably in healthcare or other regulated environments

  • Strong problem analysis skills: ability to systematically identify root causes, distinguish relevant from irrelevant information, and propose evidence-based solutions

  • Excellent organizational sensitivity: understanding how decisions impact different stakeholders and departments, with ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics

  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize your own work effectively, managing multiple parallel projects and stakeholders with competing demands

  • Outstanding listening and communication skills: ability to truly understand stakeholder needs, ask insightful questions, and synthesize complex information

  • Natural collaborator who actively seeks input from others, shares knowledge freely, and builds consensus across diverse groups

  • High level of commitment and drive: setting ambitious standards for your work and going beyond expectations to deliver value

  • Strong results orientation: ability to keep focus on objectives, make pragmatic decisions, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes

  • Experience working with healthcare organizations, understanding care processes, and familiarity with healthcare IT systems is a strong plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites regularly (healthcare organizations throughout the Netherlands)

About the Company

At Syntilio, we believe good care is built on connection — between people, places, and technology. That’s why we bring together the best of care at a distance and care on location. Smarter, more personal, and more efficient — so healthcare professionals can truly work together and people can receive the support they need, when they need it.

Our team shares a passion for healthcare innovation. With experience in digitalization, transformation, and data-driven working — especially in healthcare over the last 10 years — we know how to turn ideas into practical solutions. Our ambition is simple: to make care more accessible and to reduce the distance to good care.

The Syntilio platform makes remote care easy and supports coordination throughout the care chain. By connecting with systems that are already in use, we make collaboration straightforward and help healthcare professionals focus on what matters most: people.

Our Values

Togetherness – We believe real change happens when people work together. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.

Courage with passion – We dare to try new things, always with energy and heart, to make a meaningful difference in care.

Humility – We listen first, because the best solutions come from understanding the people who give and receive care.

At Syntilio, we don’t just create technology — we create space for more human care.
