About the Role
We're looking for an Implementation Engineer who is passionate about turning technical possibilities into practical healthcare solutions.
You'll be the technical expert behind successful implementations of the Syntilio platform at healthcare organizations. This means configuring our Salesforce-based platform, designing workflows and processes, setting up integrations, and ensuring everything works seamlessly for healthcare professionals in real-world care delivery. At Syntilio, implementation engineering isn't just about technical configuration — it's about understanding care workflows and translating them into robust, scalable platform setups that enable better collaboration and more efficient care delivery.
You'll work closely with implementation managers, healthcare organizations, and our development team to configure, customize, and optimize the platform for each client's unique needs. You are expected to proactively use AI-assisted tools and modern methodologies to enhance your work in configuration, documentation, testing, and problem-solving.
Requirements
What you'll do
Configure and customize the platform — Set up the Syntilio platform for new clients using Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, etc.) and light custom development when needed.
Design and implement processes — Translate healthcare workflows into technical processes and automation, ensuring efficient routing, notifications, and data handling.
Set up role-based access — Configure user roles, permissions, profiles, and security settings to ensure proper access control and data privacy compliance.
Integrate communication channels — Connect and configure various communication channels (telephony, video, chat, SMS) to the platform, ensuring seamless connectivity.
Configure routing and workflows — Set up intelligent routing logic for care coordination, ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
Train and enable administrators — Provide technical training to client administrators, empowering them to manage day-to-day platform operations independently.
Ensure data integrity — Set up data validation, migration scripts, and quality controls to maintain clean, reliable data in client environments.
Build integrations — Configure and test integrations with healthcare systems (EHR/EPD), IoT devices, and third-party services using APIs and middleware.
Document technical setups — Create clear technical documentation for each implementation, ensuring knowledge transfer and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and optimize — Identify and resolve technical issues during implementations and optimize platform performance for each client's specific use case.
Support go-live and beyond — Provide technical support during go-live phases and post-implementation optimization periods.
What you need
Technical Salesforce skills — Strong experience with Salesforce configuration using declarative tools: Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, formula fields, record types, page layouts, and Lightning App Builder.
Healthcare affinity — You understand (or are eager to learn) healthcare workflows and the importance of care coordination. Experience in healthcare or health-tech is a strong plus.
Integration experience — You know how to work with APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms to connect systems. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and data mapping is valuable.
Problem-solving mindset — You can analyze complex requirements, break them down into technical components, and design elegant solutions.
Security and compliance awareness — You understand the importance of data privacy, access controls, and compliance in healthcare environments (GDPR, NEN7510, ISO27001).
Communication skills — You can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively with both healthcare professionals and technical teams.
Process thinking — You naturally think in workflows, processes, and logic flows, and can translate business requirements into technical implementations.
Organized and detail-oriented — You document your work clearly, test thoroughly, and ensure nothing is overlooked during implementations.
Learning agility — You're comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to evolving platform capabilities.

About the Company
At Syntilio, we believe good care is built on connection — between people, places, and technology. That's why we bring together the best of care at a distance and care on location. Smarter, more personal, and more efficient — so healthcare professionals can truly work together and people can receive the support they need, when they need it.
Our team shares a passion for healthcare innovation. With experience in digitalization, transformation, and data-driven working — especially in healthcare over the last 10 years — we know how to turn ideas into practical solutions. Our ambition is simple: to make care more accessible and to reduce the distance to good care.
The Syntilio platform makes remote care easy and supports coordination throughout the care chain. By connecting with systems that are already in use, we make collaboration straightforward and help healthcare professionals focus on what matters most: people.
Our Values
Togetherness – We believe real change happens when people work together. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.
Courage with passion – We dare to try new things, always with energy and heart, to make a meaningful difference in care.
Humility – We listen first, because the best solutions come from understanding the people who give and receive care.
At Syntilio, we don't just create technology — we create space for more human care.
